WMLB AM 1690, also known as “Freedom 1690,” is a United States-based conservative talk format expanded band radio station licensed to Avondale Estates, Georgia, that is owned and operated by Disruptor Radio, LLC, under the leadership of John Fredericks, a prominent conservative radio and TV talk show host. The station originated as the expanded band “twin” of an existing station on the standard AM band. Historically, WMLB AM 1690 was known as “The Voice of the Arts,” featuring an eclectic mix of music genres and cultural programming. The station understands that staying informed is crucial in today’s fast-paced world, and that’s why it brings listener’s the most up-to-date news and events happening in Avondale Estates and beyond. In March 2021, WMLB transitioned to its current conservative talk format under a local marketing agreement with the John Fredericks Radio Network.
