About The Numberz FM
The Numberz FM, also known as KNUM-LP (96.7 FM), is a United States-based low-power FM radio station that originally broadcasts a variety of programs, including talk shows, news, and music from different genres. The station is providing a unique listener and creator experience by carving out a media space to empower communities of color to share their thoughts and concerns and celebrate each other. It is owned by the Community Alliance of Tenants and is known as “96.7 The Numberz.”
The Numberz FM (KNUM-LP) is to create media space for black people and communities of color in a city where gentrification has played a significant part in scattering their voices. Airing a rap and hip-hop format, this radio station features a mix of local and national artists, as well as news and talk shows that focus on issues important to the black community. The station also plays reggae, house, Afro Beat, jazz, funk, and gospel music. It also offers airtime for community organizations to share event information that will benefit their listeners.
