About Magic 98
Magic 98, also known as WMGN (98.1 FM), is a United States-based commercial radio station that broadcasts an adult contemporary music format. The station is owned by Mid-West Family Broadcasting, and it believes that music is a powerful force that can lift your spirits and bring joy to your life. Its notable programming includes a “Five at Five” feature on weekday evenings with five songs in the same theme and the syndicated call-in and request show Delilah.
Magic 98 (WMGN) uses a listener-friendly approach to its music and personalities and is one of the top stations in the Madison radio market. The station is one of the few AC stations in the U.S. that does not switch to all-Christmas music for part of November and most of December. It had been an automated easy listening station since the late 1970s, but Mid-West Family Broadcasting decided to change the format to adult contemporary and add live personalities. The station's weekend programming includes "Saturday at the 70s," "Sunday At The 80s," and the "Magic Sunday Morning" program.
