Z88, also known as WZIP (88.1 FM), is a United States-based non-commercial rhythmic CHR format educational radio station licensed to Akron, Ohio, that offers a diverse range of programming, including news, talk, music, sports, and entertainment. The station is owned by the University of Akron and serves the Akron metro area. Its format is rhythmic contemporary hit radio (CHR) during the day, with some nights featuring an active rock format (“Night Rock”).
