Radio Roxboro

Radio Roxboro, also known as WRXO (1430 AM), is a United States-based country and western oldies format commercial radio station licensed to Roxboro, North Carolina, that broadcasts a blend of country and western oldies, along with Top 40 adult contemporary and classic country music. The station is owned by Roxboro Broadcasting Company. WRXO also provides its listeners with up-to-date information on local and national events through newscasts. The station is part of the Tar Heel Sports Network, broadcasting University of North Carolina football and men’s basketball games. It is associated with its sister FM station WKRX, which provides a broader range of local programming and country music.
