About MPBN Radio
The Maine Public Broadcasting Network, or MPBN Radio, is an American radio station that broadcasts a variety of national NPR programming as well as locally created shows in addition to news, talk, and music. The Maine Public Broadcasting Corporation, which holds the licenses for every PBS and NPR station licensed in the state, operates the station. Almost all of Maine’s population may hear the station because it has multiple transmitters spread throughout the state.
MPBN Radio (branded as Maine Public) is affiliated with National Public Radio (NPR), American Public Media (APM), Public Radio International (PRI), BBC World Service, and Maine Public Broadcasting Network (MPBN). The station provides a variety of programs, such as music, talk shows, and news. It is dedicated to providing quality programming to its listeners and strives to be a source of information, education, and entertainment. The station actually focuses on local news and information, as well as the promotion of jazz, classic music, and culture. MPBN will be known throughout Maine as an organization that listens and acts accordingly. Both residents and visitors to Maine will find the station to be a useful resource. It offers a wide range of entertaining, educational, and informative content. A variety of guests, many of whom are from Maine, are invited to the station to join in the discussion, and audience members are encouraged to do the same by calling in or using other methods.
