Z104.5 THE EDGE, also known as KMYZ-FM (104.5 FM), is a United States-based modern rock/alternative format commercial radio station located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and licensed to Pryor, Oklahoma. Known for its alternative rock format, the station has built a reputation for playing a mix of mainstream and indie rock, catering to fans of current alternative hits and classic rock tracks from the ’90s and 2000s. KMYZ-FM first signed on the air in 1969 as “KKMA,” a country music station located in downtown Pryor, Oklahoma. The station’s slogan, “Tulsa’s Rock Alternative,” reflects its dedication to the alternative rock genre, with a lineup that includes both popular and emerging artists in rock. On February 27, 1995, the station changed to a Modern rock/Alternative format as “Z-104.5 The Edge” which still airs to this day.
