About WJTB Radio
WJTB Radio (also known as NJIT) is a United States-based online radio station that provides college radio programs. WJTB’s roots began in the fall of 1966 as a broadcasting club for Newark College of Engineering, the precursor to NJIT. Before being officially assigned the call letters WNCE, the club was simply NCE Broadcasting.
WJTB Radio is not only one of the longest internet radio stations, but also one of the raddest. It is the official college radio station of the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). The station broadcasts at 95.3 FM and features a variety of talk shows, on-air DJs, and music programming. The club, founded by NJIT alumni Ted Schober, met a need that the college had yet to provide, a way to connect students with culture, music, and hard-to-find albums.
