WDXY Radio (1240 AM) is a United States-based radio station based in the city of Sumter, in the state of South Carolina (SC), that broadcasts primarily in English and features a mix of local and syndicated conservative talk programming. It is known primarily as “Sumter’s Talk Station” and serves the Sumter and Midlands area with a blend of local and nationally syndicated conservative talk programming. The station is currently owned by Community Broadcasters, LLC, and features programming from ABC Radio. WDXY offers a combination of local and nationally syndicated talk shows. It also airs a local morning show, “Wake Up Carolina.” The station also features news, weather, local sports coverage (including Citadel football and other regional team talk), and some overnight talk shows.
