U92 The Moose, also known as WWVU-FM (91.7 FM), is a United States-based broadcast radio station licensed to Morgantown, West Virginia, that features a wide variety of music genres, including alternative, indie, punk, jazz, hip hop, metal, and more. It is owned and operated by West Virginia University. This radio station prides itself on taking risks, breaking ground, and learning through hands-on education. Since its first broadcast in 1982, WWVU-FM has served as a “new music pioneer” and a premier training ground for aspiring broadcasters.
