TRUE OLDIES CHANNEL (also known more recently as The True Oldies Channel: Greatest Hits) is a United States-based radio station that is dedicated to honoring the greatest rock & roll music ever recorded, with a spotlight on the greatest hits from the 60s and 70s, plus a few tossed in from the 80s. The station is programmed and hosted by legendary dee-jay and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Scott Shannon.
TRUE OLDIES CHANNEL is dedicated to playing the greatest hits of yesteryear, bringing back memories, and getting your feet tapping in no time. This radio station has a thousand different songs in its huge oldies library, and it tries to play them all. At the time of the station's launch, the station featured only music from 1955 to 1969, with less than ten percent from 1970 to 1973. The station plays a wide variety of genres, including rock 'n' roll, pop, jazz, country, and more, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy.
