Today’s 101.9, also known as WLIF (101.9 FM), is a United States-based commercial radio station licensed to serve Baltimore, Maryland, that features an adult contemporary format, offering a mix of popular music from the 1980s to the present. The station is owned by Audacy, Inc. through licensee Audacy License, LLC. In 1967, the station’s call sign was changed to WTOW-FM, and it simulcast the programming of their then-AM sister station, who changed call letters to WTOW. Here, listeners can tune in to a variety of artists, including Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson, Elton John, Taylor Swift, and Billy Joel. In 1970, the station’s call sign was changed to WLIF. The station is well known for its Christmas programming. Traditionally, the station begins playing continuous Christmas music starting the week before Thanksgiving and continues through December 26 or 27.
