The X 104.9

The X 104.9, also known as KXNA (104.9 FM), is an American-based alternative music format radio station licensed to Springdale, Arkansas, that features a variety of alternative and rock programming. The station is currently owned by John Lykins, through licensee Rox Radio Group, LLC. It plays a mix of alternative and new rock and features local shows. Known for its branding as “New Rock 104.9 The X,” KXNA delivers a mix of alternative, hard rock, and metal music. The station has undergone several transformations since its inception. The X 104.9 flipped its format to alternative rock in 1997, and its current KXNA call sign was introduced in November 2000.
