THE MIGHTY 1490 AM, also known as KBST (1490 AM), is a United States-based news/talk format radio station licensed to Big Spring, Texas, that is currently owned by Kbest Media, LLC, and includes programming from Fox Sports Radio and Premiere Radio Networks. Established in 1936, KBST has a rich history in the region. The station is affiliated with many sports teams, such as the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Texas A&M Aggies. It provides a nationally syndicated show that covers topics such as current events, trucking regulations, and driver safety issues. The station was co-owned with the Big Spring Herald for many years.
