Super 91.7 WMPH, also known as WMPH (91.7 FM), is a United States-based broadcast high school radio station located in Wilmington, Delaware, that provides news, talk, and entertainment programs. The Brandywine School District Board of Education owns the station’s license, granted by the FCC. This radio station provides a platform for students to learn about radio broadcasting and to express themselves creatively.
Super 91.7 WMPH is Delaware's first high school radio station, and its programming is a mix of music, news, and sports. The call letters WMPH stand for Mount Pleasant High School, and the station has aired several program formats over the years, including Top 40, progressive rock, dance, and now classic rock, R&B, pop, local, and alternative music. The news programming includes local news as well as national and international news. The station was known as "The Non-Commercial Rock Station" during its heyday in the 1970's, with a Top 40 and Progressive Rock format. The sports programming on this radio station includes coverage of high school, college, and professional sports.
