Sunny 106.9

Sunny 106.9, also known as KEDG (106.9 MHz), is a United States-based adult contemporary music format FM radio station licensed to Alexandria, Louisiana, that offers a mix of popular music from the 1980s through today. The station is currently owned by Flinn Broadcasting Corporation; its studios and transmitter are separately located in Pineville. In addition to its music programming, Sunny 106.9 features the syndicated show “Delilah” in the evenings. KEDG was originally a modern rock station branded as “Modern Rock Edge 107” until 2000. By October 2008, it shifted to an adult contemporary format and became known as “Sunny 106.9,” with the slogan “Central Louisiana’s Best Variety.” The station is actively involved in the local community, supporting various events and initiatives.
