Rock 93.1

Rock 93.1, also known as WHJT-HD2, is a United States-based commercial rock and alternative rock format FM radio station located in Jackson, Mississippi, that features a blend of “Iconic Alternative” (Nirvana, Linkin Park, Weezer, and The Cranberries) and “New Rock” (Shinedown, Noah Kahan, and Twenty One Pilots). It is owned and operated by New South Radio, Inc. under the Digio Strategies brand and is promoted as Jackson’s Rock Alternative, offering a mix of classic and contemporary rock/alternative music. Before becoming Rock 93.1, the 93.1 FM frequency broadcasted a blues format (“Blues 93.1”). This radio station hosts on-air shows with local personalities throughout the day, engaging its listeners with music, contests, and community content. It is locally programmed and features several familiar voices to the Jackson area.
