Old School 104.7, also known as KQIE (104.7 FM), is a United States-based rhythmic oldies music format commercial radio station licensed to Redlands, California, that focuses on classic R&B, funk, soul, and old school hip-hop. Its playlist is designed to trigger nostalgia for Southern California’s “old school” culture. The station is owned by LC Media and is partially simulcast on sister station KOCP in Oxnard, California, also at 104.7 FM. Here, listeners will hear a mix of artists, including Zapp & Roger, The Gap Band, Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie B, Prince, and Mary J. Blige. The Old School 104.7 rhythmic oldies format was adopted by KQIE in February 2015 to fill a format gap in the region.
