Newstalk KGVO, also known as KFGM-FM (101.5 FM), is an American-based news/talk format broadcast radio station licensed to serve Frenchtown, Montana, that features local news, call-in shows like “Talk Back,” and national talk radio programming. Established on March 17, 1931, it operates at a frequency of 1290 kHz, classified as a Class B station. The station is owned by a nonprofit, Missoula Community Radio, with studios in the Missoula Public Library and a transmitter on Mount Dean Stone. The call letters “KGVO” stand for “Key to Golden Values and Opportunities.” The station is also known as the “Home of the Grizzlies,” carrying Montana Grizzlies football and men’s basketball.
