Max 93.5 FM, also known as KMKX (93.5 FM), is a United States-based classic rock-formatted radio station licensed to Willits, California, that is currently owned by Radio Millennium LLC and features programming from Westwood One. The station’s call sign has changed over time. Its target audience is described as having a wide range from 35 to 75 years old, and the station aims to be the “Rock and Roll Station” for Mendocino and Lake Counties. MAX reaches a large audience across coastal and inland Mendocino County as well as much of Lake County. This radio station plays many heritage artists, like Bruce Springsteen, Journey, AC/DC, Van Halen, Neil Young, Rolling Stones, Eagles, Eric Clapton, and Led Zeppelin, who continue to release great music and are among the top touring artists of the world.
