Magic 590 AM

Magic 590 AM, also known as WROW (590 AM), is a United States-based commercial AM radio station licensed to Albany, New York, that features a soft-oldies format, occasionally incorporating adult standards. The station is owned by Pamal Broadcasting, with radio studios and offices in Latham. It has a long history of broadcasting in the Capital District, with various format changes over the years. This radio station serves as the local affiliate for CBS News Radio and is the primary entry point for the Emergency Alert System (EAS) in northeastern New York State. In the late 1950s, WROW decided to flip to a Top 40 format and switch to easy listening around 1963. In 2010, it was the exclusive radio home of the “Magic” format.
