Live 105

Live 105, also known as KITS (105.3 FM), is a United States-based commercial radio station located in San Francisco, California, that broadcasts an alternative rock format. Its slogan is “The Bay Area’s Alternative.” In 2017, the station was renamed Alt 105.3 following the CBS Radio–Entercom merger, though the format stayed largely alternative rock. KITS broadcasts in the HD Radio format. Due in part to listener demand and the Bay Area’s strong alt-rock culture, Audacy brought back the Live 105 branding and alternative format in June 2023. As of early 2026, the station is enjoying a renaissance. This radio station features music from across its history, from classic alternative artists to more contemporary acts.
