KXCV FM (90.5) is a news/talk, and information format radio station broadcast from Maryville, Missouri, United States. The station is owned by Northwest Missouri State University and features programming from American Public Media and National Public Radio (NPR). It is also the flagship station for the university’s sports broadcasts.
KXCV 90.5 FM is a public radio station that offers a wide range of jazz genres music to cater to every listener's taste. The station features a mix of national and local news and information programming, as well as classical music and jazz. It is the flagship station of the Bearcat Radio Network, which broadcasts the university's football games (as well as men's and women's basketball games). The station is staffed by students and faculty from the university, as well as volunteers from the community. It is the National Public Radio station of Northwest Missouri State University and was the first full-power public radio station in Missouri in 1971.
