KROX Radio airs a locally based news/talk format during the day and a classic rock format at night. It's the only AM radio station in Crookston and offers a unique blend of programming throughout the day. The station also airs the local radio home to Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins broadcasts. It airs University of Minnesota Crookston football, volleyball, and basketball games; Minnesota Timberwolves basketball; Minnesota Wild Hockey; and Gopher football, basketball, and hockey. This radio station has been recognized for its excellence in broadcasting, winning awards for their news coverage, community involvement, and overall programming.
