KBRH

KBRH (1260 AM) is a United States-based classic rhythm and blues format radio station broadcasting from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, that shows often include soulful music blocks and student-created content, spotlighting local music and history, and students are deeply involved in all aspects of production. The station is owned by the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board and run by students at Baton Rouge Magnet High School alongside WBRH (90.3 FM). Its programs have earned awards and accolades from the Louisiana Music Commission, the Intercollegiate Broadcasting Service, and the John Drury Awards, among other prestigious organizations. KBRH was part of the “OK Group” and was one of the first stations in the region to focus on Black music and culture.
