Indy’s Sports Ticket 1430 AM, also known as WXNT, is a sports news/talk format commercial AM radio station based in the United States that’s schedule consists of CBS Sports Radio shows and live sporting events. The station is owned by Cumulus Media and is an affiliate of the CBS Sports Radio Network. It’s also very popular for its professional sports coverage of both local and national events.
Indy's Sports Ticket 1430 AM (WXNT) carries shows from the CBS Sports Radio Network alongside local sports talk programs like "Reiter Than You." The station was first signed on as WKBF in 1926; eleven years later, the station changed its call letters to WIRE, as announced by the Federal Communications Commission on March 16, 1935. It also aired Indianapolis Ice hockey games, would broadcast Notre Dame Fighting Irish football, and previously broadcast Butler University basketball. WXNT continues to be the Indianapolis home for Notre Dame football.
