HOT 93.7 (WZMX) was first signed on in the late 1960s as 'WLVH,' the first Spanish-language radio station in the state of Connecticut, USA. The station is committed to providing its listeners with the best R&B and hip-hop music, and it has become recognized as one of the nation’s top radio stations for these genres. In 2001, this radio station switched to its current format, becoming the first station in the Hartford, New Haven, and Springfield markets to play rhythmic contemporary music on FM.
