Bison 1660 AM (KQWB) is the flagship station for North Dakota State University Bison athletics, and it airs game broadcasts and sports talk programs themed around the athletics programs of North Dakota State University, with Fox Sports Radio as a sustaining service. The station also carries a variety of other sports programming, including Minnesota Vikings games, Major League Baseball, and NASCAR. It also airs live pregame and post game reaction call in shows. As Top 40 stations across the United States moved to FM in the 1980s, this radio station transitioned to an Adult Standards format. In addition to sports, Bison 1660 AM also airs a variety of news and talk programs, including "The Morning Show", "The Insiders", and "The Jason Momoa Show."
