Big 98.5 FM, also known as KABG-FM (98.5 MHz), is a United States-based radio station licensed to Los Alamos in the state of New Mexico that broadcasts a classic hits format, focusing on popular Top 40 and hit songs mostly from the late 1970s through the 1980s, with some tracks from the early 1990s. It is well-known for featuring legendary New Mexico broadcasters. The station is owned by American General Media and has evolved from its earlier “Big Oldies” branding (which included a broader mix of 1950s–60s music) to a more 1970s- and 1980s-focused playlist to attract a younger classic hits audience. Big 98.5 FM is known for its “Classic Hits” format and is a staple for listeners in Northern and Central New Mexico. Today, the station’s format is mostly focused on music from the 1980s with a small amount of music from the 1990s added.
