Bay Country 94.5, also known as KBAY (94.5 FM), is a United States-based country music format commercial FM radio station licensed to Gilroy, California, that is playing the music listeners know and love from the ’70s and ’80s with a friendly, contemporary presentation. The station is owned by Alpha Media, along with sister station 106.5 KEZR. KBAY has a rich history dating back to its initial sign-on as KPER-FM in 1970. It switched to the country format on April 5, 2022, five years after having served as a classic hit station and in various other formats. This radio station actually features a mix of contemporary and classic country music.
