Alice 105.9, also known as KALC (105.9 FM), is a United States-based hot adult contemporary-leaning Top 40 (CHR) format radio station located in Denver, Colorado, that plays the hottest music in Denver AND has great personalities. Owned by Audacy, Inc., it serves the Denver metropolitan area. The station is known for its focus on playing the hottest hits and featuring engaging personalities on its airwaves. It commenced operations on June 21, 1965, as KBPI, featuring a progressive rock format. Over the years, it has undergone various format changes and ownership transitions, eventually evolving into the modern adult contemporary format it currently broadcasts. KALC first used the temporary calls KAKL, which is now used on the K-Love station in Anchorage, Alaska. This format blended modern AC hits with creative DJs and production elements.
