99.3 The Buzz, also known as WZBZ, is an American-based broadcast radio station that provides the latest and greatest hits from the world of rap and hip-hop music. The station’s initial sign-on was in 1974 as WGRF, an adult contemporary station and sister station to 1340 AM, WMID. Equity Communications, which also owns a number of other radio stations in the Atlantic City region, is the owner of the station.
99.3 The Buzz focuses on streaming the best live broadcasts of hip-hop, rap and R&B music on the internet. The station operated in Atlantic City right in front of the Tropicana Casino. Since 1998, when it moved from an alternative rock programming, the station has operated under its current format. This radio station believe that good music should be accessible to everyone.
