98.7 The Dove, also known as KTXR-FM, is a United States-based soft adult contemporary-format radio station licensed to serve Springfield, Missouri, that features a mix of easy-listening hits and classic pop/rock favorites. Often branded as “Lite Rock Favorites,” the station focuses on “feel-good” hits that are popular for workplace listening and “carpool karaoke.” The station was previously a sports talk format known as “JOCK 98.7 ESPN.” Its slogan is “Your Lite Rock Favorites from the 70s, 80s, and More!” The station previously aired a sports talk format branded as “JOCK 98.7 ESPN” before switching to its current soft AC/soft rock format and adopting the “98.7 The Dove” branding in August 2020. It would later switch its format to a mix of soft adult contemporary and classic hits formats, retaining its “Lite Rock” slogan.
