97.1 QMG, also known as WQMG (97.1 FM), is a United States-based urban adult contemporary format broadcast radio station licensed to Greensboro, North Carolina, and serving the Piedmont Triad region, that curates a blend of classic soul and smooth R&B, catering to a diverse audience that appreciates urban adult contemporary music. As of December 2021, WQMG is the highest-rated station in the Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point radio market. The station has been home to notable syndicated shows, including the Tom Joyner Morning Show, until 2015, after which the Steve Harvey Morning Show took its place. In the early 1970s, WQMG aired an adult contemporary format known as “Stereo Island.”
