92 WICB, also known as WICB (91.7 FM), is a United States-based non-commercial, student-operated FM radio station licensed to serve Ithaca, New York (NY), that strives to bring listeners the most diverse and entertaining programming possible. Established in 1941 and receiving its FCC license in 1948, the station is owned by Ithaca College. Known as “The Station for Innovation,” 92 WICB is one of the most decorated college radio stations in the United States. The station’s mission is simple: to provide the Ithaca community with a platform for creative expression through music, arts, and culture.
