88.3 WCBN-FM is a United States-based student-run radio station of the University of Michigan, that features a variety of spoken word programming, including news, sports, and talk shows. From rock and pop to jazz and classical, there’s something for everyone on this radio station. The station is one of the longest-standing continuous practitioners of primarily free-form radio programming. WCBN-FM went on the air for the first time on January 23, 1972, broadcasting at 10 watts in stereo on 89.5FM.
