101.7 Mike FM, also known as WHZZ (101.7 FM, “Mike FM”), is a United States-based variety hits format radio station licensed to Lansing, Michigan, that features a wide variety of music from different genres and eras. The station has gone through many different formats over the years. It plays a variety of hits in formats including rock, R&B, pop, and adult contemporary music. The station’s slogan, “Mike Plays Everything!!,” reflects its eclectic playlist. Its first air date was in January 1967 as WILS-FM, initially simulcasting WILS 1320 AM. On September 13, 2005, WHZZ transitioned to its current Adult Hits format under the “Mike FM” branding.
